EXETER coach Ali Hepher believes Jack Nowell’s selection for the Lions tour has given the England winger and his Chiefs team-mates an extra boost for their final Premiership title push.
Nowell, left out of last weekend’s win at Harlequins, proved too hot to handle as he bounced back with a typical all-action performance – and a try.
“It was a pick-up for the squad,” said Hepher. “You couldn’t have seen a more delighted group of people. It might have been a tough selection to make but when you see performances like that you get why.
