Derby day can inspire us says Matson

BATH’S European ambitions came crashing down last Sunday in Paris but they have to bounce back quickly if they are to make the Premiership semi-finals and head coach Tabai Matson reckons a West Country derby is just what they need.
Had Bath beaten Stade Francais last week, today’s derby at the Rec could have been a dress rehearsal for the Challenge Cup final but West Country pride is still on the line and that’s enough for Matson.
