BATH’S decision to drop Jonathan Joseph has denied Henry Trinder the chance to pit his wits against the prospective British Lion, but Gloucester’s fit-again centre is determined to make a statement in front of the watching England coaches.
Trinder, one of the most sumptuously gifted English midfielders yet to win a Test cap, has battled back from three years of injury misery after shoulder, hamstring and two anterior cruciate knee ligament reconstructions threatened his career.
