BENETTON booked their place in the knockout stage of the Challenge Cup with a comfortable win over rock-bottom Bayonne in Pool B.
The Italian side scored three tries in seven firsthalf minutes, including a double from lock Niccolò Cannone, to open up a 19-7 half-time lead before taking their foot off the pedal in the second period.
Bayonne, without a point in the Pool, took a shock lead in the 17th minute with a try from fullback Yohan Orabe, which was converted by captain Maxime Machenaud.
