INVITATIONAL outfit the Cheetahs, led by DoR Frans Steyn, picked up two wins from four last season and qualified for the knockouts before succumbing to a narrow defeat by Clermont in the last 16. Perpignan lost each of their four games.
Perpignan were beaten 22-13 at home to Toulon last time out, while the Cheetahs were last in action against Clermont back in April.
