IRISH sevens star Chay Mullins crowned his Connacht debut with a hat-trick.
Academy players Sean Naughton and Fiachna Barrett also made their debuts, while scrum-half Caolin Blade celebrated his 200th appearance and Paul Boyle his 100th.
Boyle led the fightback after flanker Bautista Stavile gave Zebre an early lead with the strong wind at their back.
Connacht settled and Boyle and Blade set up their opening score with a break from deep which was recycled across the pitch for debutant Mullins to score in the corner.
