Jobs for the boys is a concern

THE blurred lines between senior executives in sport being guardians of governing bodies and then, armed with inside knowledge, joining corporate commercial companies with a vested financial interest in those sports, is a serious concern.
The latest instance is Mark McCafferty’s decision to leave as chief executive of Premiership Rugby to join CVC, the private equity firm who were negotiating with him before buying a third share in the top English league for £230m.
Even more concerning is that McCafferty will remain a representative of Premiership Rugby on the Professional Game ...
