Dragons’ spirit keeps interim boss Ceri happy

INTERIM Dragons boss Ceri Jones saw his side end a tough week with a seven-try defeat at European giants Clermont Auvergne – but still praised the Welsh region for a plucky showing.
After the sacking of head coach Bernard Jackman last week, the last thing the Rodney Parade outfit needed was a trip to the Stade Marcel Michelin.
The final result was predictable, but the Dragons showed whoever does succeed Jackman – step forward Shaun Edwards – that there is something to work with in Gwent.
