Young guns come of age to boost Euro hopes

PAT Lam wore a look of a contented man as he saw his youthful Bears win a bruising arm-wrestle with their French rivals and give their European hopes the kiss of life.
The Bristol head coach said before the game the visitors needed to win to stay in the hunt and they did so with bravery and stunning defending on a a rainy night at the Stade Marcel Deflandre.
They claimed their second win of Pool 4 to progress to the next stage with flanker Jordan Crane grabbing the important try.
