Blanc score adds late gloss to the Slade show

COLIN Slade’s try-double helped end Worcester’s unbeaten Challenge Cup run at the Stade du Hameau on Friday night.
The Warriors had headed to French with two wins from two but were undone by the mercurial former All Black Slade.
Slade scored at the start of each half and converted both while Julien Blanc’s late try ensured Warriors went home with nothing.
Jamie Shillcock’s two penalties were all Worcester could manage.
