EALING stormed into the last eight with a 12-try battering of a youthful Connacht A outfit.
Ironically it was Connacht who took an early lead after Adam Leavy found space on the left.
But Miles Mantella’s long range try brought the scores level, and Alun Walker put the hosts in front as he strolled over in the corner after Rayn Smid’s heavy carry.
Will Harries added a quickfire double before Luke Carter rounded off the first half by racing clear from 50 metres as Trailfinders led 31-7.
