HARTPURY produced a convincing second half to come up with their first win in the cup.
Scarlets took an early lead when Rhodri Jones and Ryan Conbeer both punctured a fragile home defence.
But Hartpury clawed their way back. Skipper Tom Pashley led by example and it was well-deserved when No.8 Darrel Dyer drove over to haul them back into contention.
Scarlets were first to score in the second half through impressive centre Corey Baldwin, but that was as good as it got for the Welshmen as the home team took over.
