CONNACHT Eagles pulled out to a 31-point lead with the try-bonus in the bag before a flat Richmond side could even get off the mark.
After starting strongly, the much-changed away side’s first B&I Cup win for several years never looked in danger as tries from No.8 Paul Boyle, fullback Matt Byrne, centre Kieran Joyce, fly-half Andrew Deegan and winger Stacey Ili dented Richmond’s hopes of qualifying as group runner-up.
