Somerset go clear after early struggle

It took Hampshire just three minutes to open the scoring as Rory Penfold broke the line to touch down near to the corner.
Hampshire went further in front in the 14th minute when full-back Max Fletcher broke through to score under the posts. Tom Fieldsend converted.
Somerset snapped out of their poor start to reply with 17 unanswered points; tries from Charlie Carter, Sam Taylor, Alec Chase and a conversion from Jamie Elswood put them in front.
