A SEVEN-TRY secondhalf salvo saw Lancashire comfortably overcome Eastern Counties at Grantchester Road despite the hosts’ resolute defence in the first half.
Marshalled superbly by Chris Johnson, the visitors crossed the home line just twice before halftime, hooker Danny Maher finishing up at the bottom of a pile 15 minutes in and centre Connor Wilkinson squirming over just before the break.
