A TIGHT encounter at Grange Road ended in defeat for Eastern Counties as Yorkshire got the better of them.
It was not enough to reach Twickenham next week for Yorkshire though, with Lancashire edging them on points difference. The home side started brightly with Matt Hema scoring after 14 minutes. Yorkshire came back into the game though with a penalty from Jack Blakeney-Edwards.
