Reigning champs Lancs start with a bang

ON a hot day more suited to cricket than rugby, Northumberland made a positive start scoring a try through winger Jack Appleton within the first two minutes.
On 16 minutes a catch and drive from a lineout saw Lancashire get their first try through prop Dan Birchall converted by stand off Chris Johnson.
This was followed by a Lewis Allen try and conversion on 21 minutes to push Lancashire further ahead with a try from winger Antony Bingham extending their lead.
