Four-star Goatley on fire for Gloucs

CINDERFORD’S Sam Goatley scored four tries as Gloucestershire scored 35 unanswered secondhalf points to ease past Devon in their Bill Beaumont Cup opener.
The inside centre had his hat-trick after just 36 minutes but Devon were unfortunate to be trailing at the break.
Tries from Lewis Patterson and Harvey Ridgeway for the visitors had kept them in the game for the opening 20 minutes.
Lewis Dennett’s penalty at the end of the first period, to make the score 20-12, was a real dent to Devon’s hopes and the home side ran riot after the break...
