YORKSHIRE made an inspired start to their County Championship campaign with a deserved three-try victory at Huddersfield’s Lockwood Park.
After a close-fought first half, the game burst into life after the break when the home side opened up with direct running from their powerful backline, and tries from Simon Frewin, Lewis Minikin and Jamie Broadley were enough to see off last year’s losing finalists.
