KING Edward’s School fought relentlessly to secure a marginal victory over Cheltenham College to win the Vase final.
The highly anticipated affair got off to an exhilarating start as Cheltenham College looked all but certain to score after breaking KES’s lines several times only to be prevented by some heroic last ditch defending.
It was then Cheltenham’s turn to display their defensive ability as Jack Savic made a bundling tackle on the byline to prevent Cheltenham from putting points on the board.
