Loney fears for future of the County Champs

Lancashire boss Alex Loney is fired up for next weekend’s must-win ‘War of the Roses’ against Yorkshire and believes it’s just the showcase the County Championship needs.
The Red Rose is at the helm of Division 1 Pool 1 after beating Somerset 54-33, but with the side on a bye week due to the top division being a team short, Loney is worried about the future of the 135-year-old tournament.
