Luther Burrell had no hesitation in accepting an invitation to play for the Barbarians this month and on Saturday hopes to make an appearance at one of his old haunts, Franklin’s Gardens.
It may be the 34-year old England centre’s final outing at the home of Northampton, the club he spent years at from 2012 before briefly switching codes and then joining Newcastle.
