A new-look Preston Grasshoppers side picked up a difficult win away to Lymm RFC.
Heading into the game, Grasshoppers lined up with eight fresh debutants on the field, as well as some players also returning to the team after recovering from injuries.
Both teams had to battle the wind, as they used this warm-up fixture to get some minutes in the tank.
But despite it being a pre-season friendly, the quality didn’t disappoint. Ed Keohane got the Hoppers underway, with Mark Murray adding to the centre’s try.
