Sale FC looked in fine form as they got their pre-season campaign underway with a routine win against north west rivals Fylde.
The imperious hosts scored six tries in total, crossing the whitewash equally three times in each half.
It took the favoured hosts 27 minutes to break down the visitors stubborn defence when Samir Tahraoui picked and went over the whitewash with James Robins adding the conversion.
The lead was extended five minutes later when speedster Neville Edwards avoided two defenders to score in the corner with a silky finish.
