Foster-Smith’s intercept seals cross-border win

WELSH Premiership side Newport secured an away victory over National Two West’s Dings Crusaders courtesy of Chay Foster-Smith’s late interception try.
Newport made the ideal start as the visitors took a 14-0 lead through a penalty try and Harry Ackerman’s try under the sticks.
Dings suffered two yellow cards in the first period and the Black and Ambers capitalised on their extra resources with new signing Alex Grey going over.
