began their pre-season campaign with a dominant away victory over a toothless Broadstreet.

Broadstreet asserted themselves in the first phases with some dominant defence but it was the visitors who scored first with two quickfire strikes by Jim Riley and James Knight.

The second quarter was a quiet dour affair with the only action proving to be Walsham’s Oli Coates finishing a strong counter attack from inside his half.

In the third quarter Walsham continued their dominance and showcased their superiorit with Charlie Fethney finishing off some strong phases to go over before Will Swartch added to the scoring with a neat finish.

However, the fourth quarter started well for Broadstreet with Sam Payne going over after some positive forward play and slick passing.

But Walsham continued their dominant onslaught and hit back as Kalib Faulkner crossed and the visitors struck again with another counter attack, as George Masden cut through the middle from half way to go under the posts before full time.
