Quality outfit: Stowe boys celebrate their victory

CONSIDERING the 192 teams on display, with plenty of quality sides amongst them – and having to effectively go unbeaten across nine matches to win it – this tournament takes some winning, and there is no doubt that Stowe should play in the Cup next year after their superb performance in the Vase.
On Day 1 most of the groups went as expected, with 44 groups decided simply by the top side winning all their games, but there was plenty of drama to be had in those four where points difference came into play.
