MERTHYR bounced back from their shock defeat to Ebbw Vale with a hardfought bonus point win. The league’s big spenders have been slow out of the block this season and had to show plenty of character.
Merthyr’s Gareth Davies and RGC’s Danny Cross exchanged penalties early on before Callum Bradbury powered over from short range for the Ironmen.
But the Gogs played their part in an enthralling contest when Tom Hughes touched down at the far left-hand corner after some nice handling...
