A LATE Will Reed penalty helped Newport seal a 23-20 win over fierce-rivals Cardiff at Rodney Parade.
Cardiff were heavy favourites following their 60-5 thrashing of RGC last weekend, while Newport were poor in their defeat to Pontypridd.
Head coach Ty Morris demanded a response, and he got it with a performance full of courage.
