THE South West Premier title battle took another twist after runaway leaders Barnstaple suffered fourth defeat of the season at the hands of second placed Maidenhead.
With the title getting away from them Maidenhead needed a big performance and they got that from the outset with Dave Cole charging through tackles for the opening try.
Winger Jaryd Robinson then spotted a gap and raced over for a second try, both converted by Ed Keohane.
