Cardiff leap out of gates to beat Llanelli

CARDIFF progressed into the semi-final of the Cup after a comfortable win over Llanelli at Parc Y Scarlets.
Cardiff scored two tries in the opening ten minutes as Will Davies-King powered over from short range with Ed Howley running in unopposed from 55 metres out.
Gareth Thompson converted both tries and added a further three points from the kicking tee.
But to their credit Llanelli showed character to remain within touching distance and scored their first try after a nice chip by Ioan Hughes was gathered by Lewis who touched down.
