IT’S getting interesting at the top of the table as league leaders Guernsey, who failed to take a bonus point in their 14-8 win at home to Hertford, are now just one point ahead of the chasing pack.
It was 0-0 at the interval with Hertford first to break the deadlock with a try, before Owen Thomas gave the Islanders the lead with a try and conversion.
Luke Sayer added a second, again converted by Thomas, with Hertford slotting a late penalty to guarantee a losing bonus point.
