Blaydon lose ground after nervy defeat

BILLINGHAMremain unbeaten and still top the league but were forced to come back from 15-10 down with just 15 minutes to go to snatch the win with two late tries.
The final conversion from Peter Evans kept their record intact with the 22-20 scoreline. Try scorers for the home side were Nathan Myers and Elliot Husband for a firsthalf lead of 10-6, Blackburn’s two penalties coming from the boot of Ockert Erasmus.
In the second period Blackburn went ahead through tries for Connor Scrivens and Jack Edwards before Luke Wilson and Jobe Roxby went over for the hosts.
