BRIDGEND skipper Nathan Edwards picked up a yellow card five minutes from time and then had to sit through the agony of seeing his side lose to a last minute try.
Having lost on the opening day of the season against Aberavon to an Aled Thomas penalty with the last kick of the match, their demons came back to haunt them at Parc Y Scarlets as the home side snatched victory with a last play try.
Edwards picked up his card for tapping the arm of Llanelli scrum-half Dane Blacker at a ruck with his side leading 26- 23.
