Perry Humphreys signs new Worcester Warriors contract

Perry Humphreys has signed a new two-year contract to remain with beyond this season.
The 24-year-old joined Worcester from ‘ academy in 2014 and has gone on to score 12 tries in 56 first-team appearances.

He told the club’s official website: “I’m delighted to have signed a new contract and to get it sorted early in the season, which gives you that bit of extra security and certainty.”
“It’s an exciting time to be involved with Warriors. We’ve got a lot of exciting talent coming through from the Academy and a nice blend of youth and experienced players.
“We’ve got real depth in the squad and there is strong competition for places in all areas of the team which means that you have to keep pushing yourself and improving.”
Warriors director of Alan Solomons was pleased to have retained the services of the winger, who also offers an option at full-back.

“Pez is a very talented young player who has played some outstanding rugby this season. He is a good all-round footballer with pace to burn and we are all delighted that he is staying put.” Solomons said.
Humphreys is the second Warriors player to sign a new contract this week after Zimbabwean prop Farai Mudariki signed a one-year deal on Monday.
