Glasgow Warriors director of rugby Dave Rennie agrees extension

Warriors chief Dave Rennie has allayed fears over his future at Scotstoun by announcing at a press conference he has signed a one-year contract extension.
The Kiwi head coach has maintained his desire to remain with the PRO14 club as his previous deal was set to expire at the end of the season.
Speaking last November, Rennie said: “There are still a few things to sort out, but I’ll definitely be here next year. We’ve been in discussions for a long time.
“I’m really enjoying it here. As I’ve mentioned many times in the past, they’re good people so I’m keen to stay longer.”
Ahead of the Warriors league clash against Benetton on Saturday, Rennie claimed he had signed a one-year extension which will see him stay at Glasgow until 2020.
The club are yet to confirm the news, but Rennie had the following to say to reporters at Friday’s press conference.

Glasgow attempt to get their season back on track at the Stadio di Monigo after suffering back-to-back defeats to rivals Edinburgh over the festive period.
But despite the blip, Rennie’s side still top Conference A and are two points clear of Munster in second.
