BILLINGHAM move to the top of the table after beating Rossendale 43-22 away at Marl Pits.
It was close, 22-15 to the visitors, at the break with Danny Reynolds and Curtis Strong claiming tries for the home side and Lewis Allen adding one conversion and a penalty to four tries from Billingham.
In the second half, Billingham crossed for three more to just the one for Rossendale by Brad Cave, converted by Allen.
Harrogate drop to second, despite taking the try bonus point in their 29- 25 defeat of Sandal.
