Hewitt back with a bang as Dragons get off to a flyer

ASHTON Hewitt made a sparkling return as Dragons began their season preparations impressively by winning a full-blooded Welsh friendly.
The 24-year-old speedster had been absent for 16 months with a dislocated shoulder but it took him less than five minutes to display his talent by evading Ryan Conbeer and Steff Evans on a 30m run to the line.
Hewitt, right, was withdrawn at the interval but it did not stop Dragons scoring three superb second half tries to give their supporters cause for optimism after a number of seasons in the doldrums.
