IT WAS billed as a battle of the Blues but as the final whistle sounded, Bedford were a lot bluer than the visitors as Cardiff ran away convincing winners at Goldington Road in this final pre-season friendly.
The PRO14 outfit boasted a number of internationals among their ranks with a squad that will open their league account next weekend.
