IT WAS a great day for the home teams in the Celtic Cup as Scarlets A ran in eight tries in their 55-14 win over Ospreys Development and Cardiff Blues A managed six as they came from behind in their 40-31 triumph over Dragons A.
Two tries from former Wales wing Dafydd Howells edged the Dragons into a 17-14 lead in the first half at the Arms Park.
But the Blues had tries from Dan Fish, Harri Millard and Ben Murphy to thank for going into the break 21-17 ahead. They added three more in the second half, two from Lewis Jones and one from Rory Thornton.
That kept edging ahead...
