MOSELEY began their pre-season with a 40-5 win over Caldy at Billesley Common.
Caldy were returning to the scene where their relegation from National Two South was confirmed in April, and a summer of change has ensued for the Merseyside club with new director of rugby and head coach appointments made in the form of Gareth Davies and Matt Cairns.
The hosts have made a number of summer moves themselves and handed a debut to scrum-half Jonny Arr following his departure from Worcester Warriors at the end of last season.
