IT CERTAINLY wasn’t a case of after the Lord Mayor’s show for Cardiff as they followed up their- National Cup triumph with a thumping win.
They ran in 11 tries to ensure Merthyr will have to win one more game to be sure of clinching a third Principality Premiership title as they moved ahead of Ebbw Vale into the top three.
The Steelmen got off to a good start with a fourth minute penalty from outside half Rhys Jones, but they were their only points of a one-sided first half.
