Rhydyfelin are down after loss at rivals Trebanos

RHYDYFELIN became the second team to be relegated from the WRU National Championship this season.
They needed a positive result against Trebanos, who started the day just one place and one point above the drop zone. But they suffered a 16-7 defeat, which means they will join Newbridge in playing Division One rugby next season.
Dai Gratton crashed over for the Village’s only try with Ross Lucas adding the conversion but that wasn’t even enough for a losing bonus point as Evan Budge and Cellan Michael both touched down for Trebanos. Krist...
