THE decision to sack Australia attack coach Stephen Larkham in February was a tough one but it was a choice that had to be made if the Wallabies are to have a shot at winning this year’s World Cup, head coach Michael Cheika said.
Larkham, below, who won the 1999 World Cup and played more than 100 times for the national side, had been part of Cheika’s staff since 2015. He took up a role with Rugby Australia after leaving the team.
