BOURNEMOUTH were crowned champions with four games remaining. They topped off an almost perfect season, which has seen them win 21 of their 22 games, by beating Exmouth 41-10. Two Grant Hancox penalties gave the leaders an early advantage before their visitors responded in a close opening 30 minutes. Sam Hardcastle then went over for a maiden try to give them a 13-3 lead at the break.
