Pooler make it 40 in a row to stay clear

PONTYPOOLremain eight points clear at the top of the Championship after claiming their 40th consecutive league victory.
Pooler ran in six tries to beat Newcastle Emlyn 36-24 and pick up maximum points.
Martin Luckwell collected Rhodri Usher’s pass to go over. Then Usher, Scott Matthews, Curtis Gregory, Brendan Lampitt and Clayton Gullis also touched down to make it 14 wins from 14 in the league this season.
Daniel Davies, Steffan Evans and Andrew Owens all replied for a plucky Emlyn side.
