LLANELLI took a giant stride towards Principality Premiership survival with a bonus-point triumph over Bargoed.
The pre-match resignation of long-serving Bargoed coach David Lynch and his assistant Gareth Gunter failed to prompt an upturn in fortunes as their three-year stay in the top flight looks to be coming to an end.
Llanelli moved out of the bottom four thanks to scores from Nathan Hart, Johnny Lewis, Ryan Thomas, Kalum Evans, Tom Prydie and Gareth George.
