Budgen rolls back the years in victory over Met

BEDWAS advanced to the quarter-finals of the WRU National Cup with a hardfought away victory over a stubborn Cardiff Met.
Tries from Connor Edwards, Chris Budgen, Owen Ford and a penalty try, plus nine points from the boot of Evan Lloyd was enough to get them over the line against the National Championship side.
The hosts scored one try of their own courtesy of full-back Tom Benjamin, while Laurie Essenhugh also scored eight points as Met made the visitors work hard from start to finish for their victory.
