CARDIFF left it late – the fourth minute of injury time – to pick up a much needed bonus-point to hoist themselves into second place in the table.
Two Aled Thomas penalties either side of a great team try, started from their own 10-metre line and scored by Steff Marshall, gave Quins a wonderful start.
But they found themselves 16-13 in arrears at the break. Cardiff ’s kicking game gave them better field position and in outside half Gareth Thompson they had a real point of difference.
