THREE tries in seven minutes either side of half-time break Bargoed apart and allowed Carmarthen Quins to end a run of two home defeats with a muchneeded bonus-point win.
The visitors were highly competitive in the opening quarter and fashioned a good try for scrum-half James Leadbeater that his half-back partner Josh Prosser converted to give his side a 7-3 lead.
But after that the power of the Quins pack, combined with the deadly goalkicking of former Scarlets star Aled Thomas, turned the game on its head.
